Puskas is generally regarded as one of the best footballers to walk the earth. However, few recall that the ex-Hungarian army major also knew how to handle himself. After Hungary had defeated Brazil in the 1954 World Cup semi-final trouble flared back in the dressing rooms. Puskas, with a boot in one hand and a bottle in the other, was reported to have taken on the South Americans almost single handedly. |
